Archery Tuning Theory

1. DYNAMIC LOAD CALCULATION
The 'Dynamic Load' represents the effective force the arrow experiences upon release.

  • Base Weight: Rated Weight + 2lbs for every inch of draw over 28".
  • Arrow Length Factor: Adds ~5lbs of virtual load per inch over 28".
  • Point Weight Factor: Adds ~3lbs of virtual load for every 25 grains over 100gr.

2. SPINE DEFLECTION
This app maps your calculated Dynamic Load to an ideal Static Deflection using a non-linear curve derived from empirical charts.

3. FOC (FRONT OF CENTER)
Ideal Range: 10-15% for target recurve.
